Ding Dong, Hi Mom. It’s Not a Doorknocker.

E46 – Part 2 of 2. Mouse talks about a neighborhood sex toy party and wonders how to confront her housekeeper who keeps stealing her vibrators, while our mom guest stars in the story of Julianne’s missing ding dong. Weens goes into detail about said dildo revealing the REAL story, and explains why you shouldn’t mix Ativan, dating, and sex toy shopping. Learn about the amazing German Australian purse lifting musician, and feel good knowing that you now know way too much about Mouse and Weens.

Paw Paws and Bloody Shows

E45 – Part 1 of 2 in our marathon catch-up session. Weens met a boy and is now deep into a texting relationship. We try to figure out the meaning of each back and forth. Is he avoiding some answers? Does he have someone else in the mix? Or was he turned off by the suave texting that Weens was throwing his way? He might just be a disappearing prick, so of course we discuss this in way too much detail. See what Ohio, paw paws, karaoke, and Phish all have in common. Then we get into some bloody sexy girl talk, and hear about life on the set of the hit show The Rookie as it wrapped up filming. Part 2 to follow!

Love Stories

E43 – How I met your father! Mouse tells the story of how she and hubby Dave got together. It was a bumpy ride but could be made into a rom com screenplay. Our mom gives us her country line dancing romance with Cowboy Denny and we get some nuggets of love advice on Valentine’s Day. And Weens shares a hilarious story about a foolproof way that she met some guys, one of whom is still her friend who has no idea that he was part of an experiment!
We also collected love stories from our podcasting friends at Deconstructing Damsels, #NoOffense, Sh*t Happens When You Party Naked, We Do Stuff, Hugo’s Posts, My Worst Date, The LitFlix Podcast, One Star Bazaar, Her American Story, and You Watch, I Listen.
Through it all, loving yourself is the greatest love of all. Apologies for the horrible karaoke.

Roommates

E37 – What do mice in the night, chore shirking sorority girls, schizophrenic lesbians, droopy Hungarians, and sweater thieves all have in common? They were our roommates! Weens confronts Joelle with her passive aggressive outbursts, and we talk about our parents fighting and their divorce. Weens sets her sights on woodchoppers and guys who keep their cars moderately clean, and ball talk reminds Mouse of her possum prune story. Thank you to all of our friends who listen and we hope that you spread the word about our podcast. Ghost Stories of Mouse and (Hallo)Weens!

E33 – We’re back and full of stories, both the dental kind and the ghost kind! Weens had a hot root canal, and Mouse had a dental panic attack. Scary stuff, just like the ghost stories we gathered from our friends and coworkers. The spooky experiences were from friends living in houses where spirits still resided, and from employees at the haunted MacArthur Park Towers who dealt with many of the residents dying. Hear about a little hooded boy, an angry rose-lover locking doors, a suicide ex giving a kiss, the man in the yellow jacket, the Virginia horseman, Teddy Ruxpin coming to life, and an out-of-body fisticuffs. Call us if you know more about spirits or if you have ghost stories to share! (858) 215-6897

Meet Us, Celebrity School Loans, and Pubes (lo-fi)

Ep1 – Meet Mouse in suburbia and Weens in Hollywood. Hear stories about balls on ice, Don Johnson, The Cure, Laura Ingalls Wilder, John Denver, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. We interview our mom and hear how Weens got her name, plus hear about Mouse’s kids and the birds and the bees. You shouldn’t miss the pubic hair talk, and hear about Weens’ waxing experience. Weigh in on whether Weens should post her pubic situation on Tinder and if you have any 1970’s Joy of Sex memories like we do. Enjoy our first podcast! www.MouseAndWeens.com
