E45 – Part 1 of 2 in our marathon catch-up session. Weens met a boy and is now deep into a texting relationship. We try to figure out the meaning of each back and forth. Is he avoiding some answers? Does he have someone else in the mix? Or was he turned off by the suave texting that Weens was throwing his way? He might just be a disappearing prick, so of course we discuss this in way too much detail. See what Ohio, paw paws, karaoke, and Phish all have in common. Then we get into some bloody sexy girl talk, and hear about life on the set of the hit show The Rookie as it wrapped up filming. Part 2 to follow! MouseAndWeens.com | Facebook | Instagram | Twitter

E39 – Our holiday catch-up includes Idaho, Cowboy Denny, sledding, sleighs, elk and party stories. We also get into the LA scene, and the difference between there and the San Diego suburbs. By the way, we are making Weens’ New Year’s Resolution to promote herself! On the horizon are February events with the Bad At Love Podcast co-host Tamu, and another event by our podcast pals atMy Worst Date podcast. Speaking of worst dates, hear Mouse’s near-pee experience with a cute surfer boy, and Weens’ night with a lab coat wearing bone scientist. We move into the car as we go on a San Diego tour and chat with our friend, Bachata Jen. She gives us the skinny on the New York dating scene, both with online guys and with movers, and has some great bad date stories and relationship perspectives.
E37 – What do mice in the night, chore shirking sorority girls, schizophrenic lesbians, droopy Hungarians, and sweater thieves all have in common? They were our roommates! Weens confronts Joelle with her passive aggressive outbursts, and we talk about our parents fighting and their divorce. Weens sets her sights on woodchoppers and guys who keep their cars moderately clean, and ball talk reminds Mouse of her possum prune story. Thank you to all of our friends who listen and we hope that you spread the word about our podcast. E33 – We’re back and full of stories, both the dental kind and the ghost kind! Weens had a hot root canal, and Mouse had a dental panic attack. Scary stuff, just like the ghost stories we gathered from our friends and coworkers. The spooky experiences were from friends living in houses where spirits still resided, and from employees at the haunted MacArthur Park Towers who dealt with many of the residents dying. Hear about a little hooded boy, an angry rose-lover locking doors, a suicide ex giving a kiss, the man in the yellow jacket, the Virginia horseman, Teddy Ruxpin coming to life, and an out-of-body fisticuffs. Call us if you know more about spirits or if you have ghost stories to share! (858) 206-9971
E29 – We hang out with an awesome teacher, podcaster, and friend – Brian Pawlowski of The Lazy Teacher Podcast – in our first ever episode swap! No subjects are off limits as we talk about Weens’ dating life, music, parents vs teachers, school gardens, kids’ nutrition, and all sorts of goofy, giant topics. Enjoy this fun one and please be sure to follow The Lazy Teacher Podcast for Brian’s insight into education, parenting, passion, and life! He’s a good egg! thelazyteacherpodcast.com Song credit: “Giant Friends” by Weens.
E28 – Dating! How do you send someone to the friend zone if they don’t take the hint? What if your dude uses more product than you do? Date outside your comfort zone? Ever wear the wrong undergarments on a date? Is it a deal breaker if the guy wears a sweater with shorts? We have some stories to share! We also get into yoga, meditation, spelunking, and couples’ karaoke. These hard-hitting topics and more on www.MouseAndWeens.com. Please rate and review, and feel free to support Weens’ new underwear campaign on ko-fi.com/mouseandweens Song credit: “My Man” by Weens.
E26 – Friday Happy Hour and so much laughing! We talk wildfires in So Cal and the Paradox of Choice. Are too many choices causing anxiety and depression? We discuss Hollywood and whether its sordid reputation is deserved. Mouse’s wine kicks in and after a smoky laughing jag, take a guess who is Merle Haggard and who is Sideshow Bob. Weens runs into Craig Robinson on the set of Dolemite Is My Name and she explains their connection through music. We talk about women getting stuck in awkward overnight situations and playing possum. Mouse laments the Summer of Fortnite but finds some balance with her latest project with the kids – filming a homemade cop movie! And we report that Mouse’s daughter is still obsessed with The Greatest Showman. We delve into cleavage and boobs, which somehow leads to a White Grandpa Rap. Our relationships with our grandparents is brought up, as is nose-picking, Neti Pots, and other gross body issues. Nipples are a part of the body, Weens wonders if it was a turn-on to breastfeed, and Mouse explains what it feels like. We talk nursing, breast milk, formula, feeding, and sleeping. Hear the hit song Hot Milk by Weens as Mouse rationalizes feeding choices and light sleeping habits. We close it out with some sick laughter that may or may not have created a small tinkle in Mouse’s undies.
E19 – We dabble a little with religion talk and then get into some kooky memories of our sweet dad. Sleep positions come up which logically leads right into misspellings and grammar. Weens divulges her latest love life status and tells some amazing online dating stories, the favorite being Gun Trunk. Mouse gets into her dating history and recalls the glam rock 90s. Then we hear the Red Hot Chili Peppers story of Mouse getting a gun held to her head which is not a funny story. We talk about feminism self defense and teaching girls to be kick ass. Weens has a good self defense move from her job volunteering with the elderly – the goose poke. See Weens parody commercial on our You Tube channel and hear some of her guitaring funnies throughout the episode. Wahooeey!
E16 – This is a fun one, digging in to Weens dating life and pondering the May-December romance phenomenon she keeps seeing as we hear clips of Tyrese, a young PA who asked her out. In between, we share nude beach stories, discuss female anatomy, and lightly cover marriage and divorce. Then we hear some behind the scenes stories of Spencer Pratt, Heidi Montag, and give our thoughts on 15 minutes of fame and the Kardashians. Weens explains to Mouse how movie negotiations start off and which comes first, the actor or the money. Music outro credits “Jam With My Butter” by Weens
