E96 – Life is a big balancing act right now. Who can relate? After some requisite excretory system discussion, and talk about backyards, shotguns, and The Sopranos, we jump into how our Thanksgiving went. As a parent, it’s difficult to know when you’re giving the right amount of time to your kids versus your work. And in Mouse’s case, does podcasting count as work or is it a hobby? What are other people thinking about how much time she spends with her kids versus her computer? Perceptions, expectations, assumptions and The Shoulds can get us all into trouble, so we try to break down our personal experiences. We also get into how friends and family are at different stages of how they are dealing with coronavirus expectations right now. Some of us are expanding our bubbles and spending time with family, and others are strictly locked down and only going on guilt trips! How is this going to play into the upcoming holidays? E61 – Come play! We break down our weekend in downtown LA at the historic Ace Hotel’s Werk It women’s podcasting conference. Hear our lecture takeaways and highlights scootering in skirts, meeting famous podcaster Georgia Hardstark of My Favorite Murder, and hanging with Dessa, well-known rapper, author, and TED Talk lecturer at the closing party. She went deep with us into the neuroscience behind love and we talk a little bit about both of our relationship obsessions. Then we come back to Julianne’s cottage and have a jam session with Dan Mahony, playing the game Stump Dan the Guitar Man. He is so good! See if he gets stumped by Lizzo, Afroman, Coldplay, or Queens of the Stone Age, and watch the rest of the performance on our Facebook Live video in our FB Group. We take a turn into the behind the scenes of tv and film as Weens talks about her dream of working in stunts. What is her connection with the Sega Fighting Vipers commercial and main character design? Should she take a stunt driving course? What did she do in The Rookie’s Season 2 trailer? Hear her interview with Special Effects coordinator Bob Calvert and one of his craziest memories working with Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny on The X-Files. And find out where on the risk-taking scale Mouse is these days.

E47 – Weens wrapped ABC’s hit show The Rookie and is going to fill her hiatus with creative endeavors Myers-Briggs style, even though it’s possible that Jung and Freud were full of BS. Weens is searching for her main gig, isn’t sure about being on stage, but loves improv and recalls watching Upright Citizens Brigade in New York for the first time. She took some UCB classes in LA, and then challenges Mouse on her comedy and improv skills. Mouse gets nervy when she lectures to gardeners, but she commands a room when it’s about sexual health. Go figure. Hear the exercise we both do on being an expert and see if you feel the fraud and imposter syndrome creeping in. We segue to hear about Mouse’s recent colonoscopy and get the play by play on what to expect under twilight anesthesia when you basically get roofied with fentanyl. Then take a delightful Jeep ride down memory lane, Dickens style, as Weens recounts caring for Mouse after oral surgery and why she still might be on America’s Most Wanted list. E17 – An uncomfortably close coffee shop hangout turns into a discussion about kids hobbies, a sisterly confrontation about why we didnt get along in middle school or high school, and brief thoughts on psychic connections. Then we delve into spa memories, which inspires us to go to a Korean Spa the following day. We report back with all of the gory naked details but have a few funny introspective revelations too. Write to us at email@example.com with topics and we will talk about you!
E10 – Mouse talks sock poops, living in the bubble, and other podcasts. Weens dishes on past Trump run-in, news, and relationship ghosting versus closure. The sisters talk through their dad’s death, dreams, visitations, mediums, and near-death experiences, of course all peppered with some farts and an old lady yelling BM! Find us on social media to see our hot abs. Outro music “Free Love” by Weens.
